The parish Youth Ministry students will be selling carnations this weekend in the church vestibule in honor of Mother's Day. Carnations are $1 each. WE LOVE YOU MOM!
The Golf Outing Committee will be selling $1.00 tickets this weekend and next weekend, before and after all Masses in the church vestibule. The winner of the ticket can bring a foursome to the Golf Outing on June 8th free of charge or take a $200 cash prize. The St. Edward Parish Golf Outing is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 8th at the Madison Club with a shotgun start at 9:00am. Fee is $75 per person/$300 per foursome. The fee includes golf, cart, skill prizes, team awards, and a buffet dinner at the St. Edward Church Hall.
Will meet on Tuesday, May 15th at 7:00pm in the parish meeting room.
Ascension of the Lord is a Holy Day of Obligation for Catholics. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 17th at 8:00am and 7:00pm. As members of the apostolic church; we are all called to be apostles.
Our graduating High School Seniors from Central Catholic, Hempfield, Yough and Norwin will be honored at the 9:00am Mass on Sunday, June 3rd. A breakfast will follow in Edwardian Hall for our graduates and their parents, brothers and sisters, as guests of the parish and Youth Ministry. Reservations are required.
Please fill out the form in the bulletin and return it to the rectory office no later than May 27th. We will list the names of our Graduating Seniors from our parish who respond to the invitation in the bulletin. All Seniors are asked to wear their Cap and Gown for this celebration. (Please check with your school office for permission to have your Cap & Gown early for this Mass if you do not have them by then.) Graduates who cannot attend the Mass are also asked to respond so we may include them in the bulletin.
Kids 4 Years Old through 5th Grade (just completed) are welcome to participate! Cost is $20 per participant; $30 per family of 2; $40 per family of 3 or more. Registration forms are available on the bulletin table.
