This Week at St. Edward:
| MONTH OF MAY |
FLOWERS FOR MARY
- During the month of May, we would like to have a different family (one a week) to be responsible for placing fresh flowers before the Blessed Mother statue. One fresh array of your garden flowers will do nicely! Try to have a fresh bouquet ready for the Saturday evening Mass each week. A vase will be provided if needed. A schedule of weeks can be found on the bulletin board in the church vestibule for your family to reserve. A beautiful gesture and God will bless you! |

| DLA 2013 |
2013 DIOCESAN LENTEN APPEAL - During this Holy Season of Lent, through the Diocese
an Lenten Appeal, we are called to reflect and take actions that will bring us closer to God. Our gifts help us spread the Good News to do Christ's work. By serving others we are serving Christ. Our almsgiving and our prayers will be a testimony of our love as we walk together on our Lenten journey.
If you are unable to give to the campaign this year, Father John is asking if you will consider giving $1.00 to help with our parish participation.
DLA VOLUNTEER'S NEEDED - Please consider volunteering as one of our DLA follow-up workers. You will be asked to call no more than 5 parish families in your area. Donating a small portion of your time during the season of Lent in this effort can make a difference. Please call the parish office at 724-446-5197 to help this Lent. |
