Faith Formation | Religious Education 

A weekly program offered for children from the parish in first through fifth grade who attend public school. Classes are held on Monday evenings from 6:00-7:30 p.m. This program systematically explores Christian attitudes and basic doctrine. Parents are encouraged to become involved in the religious education of their children by reading and studying together the religion books brought home.

 

 

The following list includes varying ways parishioners can be involved in the religious formation programs of St. Edward Parish:

V  Children’s liturgy of the word

·         Children in who participate at the 9:00 a.m. Mass on Sundays

V   Vacation Bible School (VBS) adult leader

V   VBS student crew leader

V  VBS aide

V  Classroom aide 

 

 

The following list includes varying ways parishioners can be involved in the youth ministry program of St. Edward Parish:

 

Youth member

Student in grades sixth through twelve gather three to four times a month for social, service, spiritual and educational activities.

 

Adult advisor

The adult advisors help to plan, organize and teach at the youth meetings.
